Please ensure that your MIS is up to date before rolling over as you will only be able to view the data for your classes from previous academic years, you will not be able to edit this.
What happens in the rollover?
- Your pupils’ current national curriculum year will be moved forward by one year,
e.g. Year 3 pupils will become Year 4 pupils. - Year 6 pupils will no longer be visible but will remain securely in Balance. You can view Year 6 leavers by clicking on Analysis. From there, hover over one of the options e.g. Learning Journey. A Go to previous year button will appear in the right-hand corner of the page which will allow you to view classes and groups from previous academic years.
- Current class groups will be deleted allowing the new class teacher to create new class groups for their class.
- School groups will be carried over to the next academic year.
- Providing your MIS system is up to date, your pupils and teachers will be assigned to their new class.
- If your MIS has not been updated your pupils and teachers may not be assigned to the correct class. If the automatic rollover has already occurred and your MIS was not up to date, please contact our support team via balancesupport@angelsolutions.co.uk.
